What We Know
We don’t have to choose sides.
We know first-hand that communities can act with urgency to resolve public health and safety problems, while also providing the housing and services that end someone’s homelessness.
In most communities, 1% of the private rental market is enough units to rehouse everyone experiencing homelessness. Clutch helps communities move people into housing today, while they also tackle long-term housing affordability.
We don’t have to solve affordability to start changing homelessness.
Rehousing with supportive services is the solution.
We help communities organize their resources to bundle housing and supportive services to avoid the added costs, administrative burden, and distraction of interim and temporary responses.
Across the communities we serve, more than 90% of individuals in encampments say yes to housing and services. Clutch works to help communities shift practice and start offering real relief via housing.
